This page explains what happens to your information when you visit the website of The Barber Lounge. The short version: the site asks you for nothing, has no forms and no accounts, and sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we are
The Barber Lounge is a barbershop at Alexander Fleming 11a, 3012 Limassol, Cyprus. For anything about this policy, call us on 96 001666 or ask in the shop.
The website is built and looked after for the shop by RareCoding (MK Web Services Ltd, Limassol, Cyprus), which works only on the shop's instructions.
What the website collects
Nothing that you type or send. There is no contact form, no sign-up and no online payment on this site.
Like every website, the computers that deliver these pages receive some technical details when your browser asks for a page: your IP address, the type of device and browser, the page asked for and the time. Our hosting provider uses these to deliver the site, keep it secure and count visits. We do not use them to work out who you are.
Cookies and what is kept on your device
The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
If you change the colour of the lights on the site, your choice is saved in your own browser so the site looks the same on your next visit. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser's site data removes it.
When you call us
Booking is by phone. When you call, we see your number as with any call, and we note what we need to arrange your appointment, such as your name and the time. We use this only for your appointment and do not pass it on to anyone else.
Links to other services
The directions button opens Google Maps and the Instagram link opens Instagram. Once you are there, their own privacy policies apply, not this one.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you can ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Call us or ask in the shop.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
Changes
If the website starts to do more, for example online booking, we will update this page first. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
